Things To Do

The Torcroft is situated in an excellent location on a quiet road, to ensure guests are relaxed and enjoy peaceful surrrounding during their stay. We are just a few minutes stroll from Torre Abbey Sands, Abbey Sands which offers several restaurants and bars, and the Princess Theatre. A few more minutes along the beautiful promenade are the town centre, Living Coasts, Torquay Marina and walks along the coast. The Torcroft is a great place from which to explore Torbay and the surrounding area, and is great to leave the car and enjoy walking or accessing local transport.

The Torcroft is a great base for day trips which can be easily reached within an hour or less. Places of interest include Paignton Pier and Zoo, Dartmouth, Cockington and Brixham, the UK's 2nd larger fishing port. Totnes, Exeter and Plymouth are all an easy drive and the South West Coastal Path passes through Torquay, making the town a great place to stop over en route.
